AhlulBayt News Agency: Ezzat al-Resheq, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, stated that Iran’s strong response demonstrated that Israel’s aggression cannot go unanswered and will always have consequences.
On Saturday, Resheq emphasized that dozens of precision missiles and drones successfully struck deep inside Israel, despite the presence of advanced defense systems such as the Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow.
He asserted that these defense systems failed to prevent the strikes, leaving the occupation engulfed in the fire it had long ignited in the region.
“The message of the response is clear: Those who attack [Iran] will pay the price,” Resheq declared.
Israeli media reported that the death toll from Iran’s retaliatory strikes had risen to three, with 172 others injured.
A woman wounded in the first wave of Iranian missile strikes succumbed to her injuries, according to Israel’s public broadcaster Kan.
Two additional Israelis, injured in a later missile strike in central Israel, were also pronounced dead, the broadcaster reported.
Israeli authorities evacuated 300 residents in Tel Aviv after their homes were damaged, while another 100 were evacuated in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, according to Israel’s Channel 12.
Iranian rockets completely destroyed nine buildings and caused extensive damage to hundreds of apartments and vehicles in Ramat Gan, as reported by the daily Haaretz.
Meanwhile, aerial interceptions were observed over Tehran following renewed Israeli strikes, Kan reported.
In the early hours of Friday, Israeli forces launched attacks on Iran, targeting nuclear and missile facilities as well as civilian structures. The strikes resulted in the deaths of over 104 people, including top military commanders, scientists, and civilians, while injuring approximately 380 others.
